Stacey Ayub is a certified professional dog trainer and instructor who specializes in creating a relationship between canines and their owners through mutual trust and respect. Her goal is to help owners understand how to communicate with their canines and interpret their behavior.  Stacey's home-based training services are custom fit to each client and their dog(s). She works to correct poor manners or bad habits in all types of dogs ranging from young puppies to mature adult dogs.

Stacey offers in-home private lessons using the right method for each dog. Since every dog is different, she will modify each lesson to work on the specific needs to be addressed with the dog and its owner. Lessons are scheduled one at a time with no minimum number of lessons required. Your dog will learn how to think, and you will learn how to listen.

A Board and Train program is offered to clients if needed.  This is where your dog will stay with Stacey and her family for two to four weeks.  Your dog will learn obedience such as, place, recall, waiting at the door, no jumping,  loose leash walking and more.  Your dog will get social/play time with other dogs, get to go on outings to surrounding areas for work on reliable recalls when dealing with distractions.  This program also includes two private lessons.  Please contact me reguarding prices.

In addition to training the family dog, Stacey has trained many service dogs to help people with a variety of needs, such as peanut allergy detection, maintenance of balance, psychiatric services, item detection, assistance and task performance.  Stacey loves training service dogs but as of 1/15 she is no longer training service dogs.  She would be glad to answer any questions regarding service dogs if needed.

Stacey is passionate about what she does, and it gives her great pleasure to help people with their canine buddies. She has more than 17 years of dog training experience. She also owned and operated a grooming shop in Northern California for 5 years. Stacey helped found the first doggie daycare training center in Ventura in 2005.

Stacey continues to educate and update herself on new and better ways of training, nutrition and dog behavior by attending workshops regularly.
